Though I suspect all of you that look for the weather regularly already know, I thought I would post this to tell you that the weather station is back. The camera is still being installed and it will be a while longer. The weather station receiver is now in the RFL library and is up and sending info every 5 minutes as before. We had an outage from 1/3 P.M. until this afternoon, but it is now fixed. We don't know why we had the outage ..... Since I don't look at it every day, please contact me thru the RFL website if it goes down again.

I am happy to report that Dennis at the RFL Trading Post has the camera up and running once again. It was no small effort on his part, so next time you are in the store, let him know how much you appreciate it. It just came on-line today, 1/10/2010. If you want to enlarge the picture, you should be able to hit "CTRL" & "+" on your keyboard and the picture will grow. You may also be able to click on "View" and then "zoom in". The new view is of Ramona Lake and further south.
The weather station is another story. It was back up late last week, but then died again yesterday morning. I am going up to RFL on Wednesday and will try to improve our connection.

Just a quick update. The RFL weather station and camera are now up and running and should be stable. Dennis at the Trading Post has modified the camera picture schedule so we will no longer get black night shots. I enhanced the weather instrument connectivity at the library, so I hope the system will stay up without interruption. Thanks for all of your patience.
